How the Price Is Formed

To build an accurate estimate, we start with your moving date and confirm the pickup and drop-off locations. Then we ask what type of property you’re moving from and to (apartment, condo, townhouse, house) and how the move will be accessed (stairs, elevator availability, parking/loading distance). We also review what you need moved (furniture, boxes, fragile items) and whether any items require special handling. Based on these details, we recommend the right crew size (2, 3, or 4 movers) and explain your pricing structure clearly before booking — so you know what to expect on moving day.

We calculate your estimate based on:

  • Pickup & drop-off locations (distance and route)

  • Property type (condo, apartment, townhouse, house)

  • Access conditions (stairs, elevator, parking, long carry)

  • Amount of furniture & belongings (volume/complexity)

  • How many movers are required (main factor)

  • Optional services (packing help, fragile-only packing)

  • We charge an hourly rate for movers, plus a flat transportation fee. Within the GTA, the transportation fee is $140 and it covers the truck, fuel, insurance, travel time, and the moving equipment we bring to your job. Pricing is transparent, with no hidden fees.

  • Until June 1st, the promotional rate is $110 per hour for 2 movers, or $55 per mover per hour. To receive the promotional rate, the booking must be made before June 1st. The minimum booking is 3 hours. Seniors receive a 5% discount.

  • No. We don’t give a fixed total because the final time can change based on elevator availability, traffic conditions, accessibility, stairs, distance, and any extra-heavy items. We explain everything clearly before booking so you know what to expect.

  • Extra-heavy or specialty items are priced separately. This can include pianos, gym equipment, treadmills, pool tables, and oversized or extremely heavy items.

  • Yes, a deposit is required to secure the moving date. Payment is collected upon arrival at the unloading location, not after unloading is completed. A 3% processing fee applies to certain types of transactions.

  • That’s not a problem. If you choose to pack certain items yourself, you may be asked to sign a waiver stating we are not responsible for damage to items that we did not pack.

  • We’ll ask for your moving date, pickup and drop-off locations, property type, and a quick description of what you’re moving. We’ll also ask about any extra-heavy items so we can plan the right crew and equipment.
